Coffee Anan(Cloud)

Set on the top of Mount BenTal, Coffee Anan is the highest coffee shop in Israel at 1,165 meters above sea level.The name "Coffee Anan" is especially suitable for the coffee shop as the word "Anan" in Hebrew means cloud and from the coffee shop you can drink a hot cup of refreshing coffee whilst looking down on the clouds.Coffee Anan also serves breakfasts, pastries, salads, sandwiches and a range of soups during the winter months.Coffee Anan is also a much sought after venue for special events catering for different styles and content.

Mount BenTal Observation Point
From the heights of Mount BenTal next to Merom Golan, you can see deep into Syria, Lebanon and the north of Israel.  Next to Coffee Anan is a now disused IDF bunker that is open to the public and computerized information kiosk in both Hebrew and English.

Kosher dining room

Merom Golan's kosher dining room offers meals to individuals and groups and has a seating capacity of 300.

The dining room is just 25 minutes from the Hermon and just a few minutes from the area's fruit picking sites.  We specialize in providing a variety of menus. 

The food is kosher and under the supervision of the Golan Rabbinical Council.

We pride ourselves on service and quality second to none!

The kosher menu includes:
Business lunches, catering services in a magical grove of fir trees and special meals in a private hall suitable for up to 100 guests.  We cater for receptions, dairy meals and more.

Next to the dining room is the Alon Hall, a beautiful hall that is reminiscent of an old time coffee shop.  The hall is available for groups who desire special menus.

Guest at the Resort Village are served breakfast in the dining room and can also buy a meal coupon for Friday evening meals.  Information regarding evening meals for the rest of the week can be found at Reception.

Gaucho Restaurant– kosher

Merom Golan's renovated, kosher Gaucho Restaurant is an established, well known and much respected restaurant. 

Built in the style of a ranch house from the Wild West with wood covered walls, the restaurants team prepares guests a wide range of excellent meat dishes as well as vegetarian dishes and special meals just for the kids.

We recommend ordering entrecote steak, the house hamburger or lamb ribs from the restaurants rich and varied menu.  The dishes are prepared from kosher fresh meet that has been carefully chosen for its quality and taste.

Next to the Gaucho Restaurant is the Riding Stable which completes the Western atmosphere that permeates the area.

From Sunday through to Friday afternoon, the restaurant serves grilled meats directly to your table.

On weekends only, the restaurant serves a rich and varied self service buffet.
Guests wishing to eat at the restaurant of Friday evenings and Saturday should purchase a meal voucher at Reception.

Sunday through Thursday:  from 12:00 until the last guest.
Friday:  Open until one hour before the start of the Sabbath.
Friday evening:  18:30 to 21:00 (self service buffet)
