Covered, heated swimming pool

The pool is next to the guest rooms and cabins and is covered to protect swimmers from the sun.  It is also heated and open only during the summer months.  The pool has new shower facilities for men and women, a life guard, first aid station, a snooker table, drinks and ice cream dispensers.  Outside the pool are spacious, green lawns with chairs and sun loungers.  Guests of the Resort Village will be provided towels upon presentation of their key.

Animal corner

Close to the Resort Village guests will find an animal corner where you will find many animals including horses, cows, sheep, peacocks, chickens, ducks and even a friendly camel.  The corner also has really nice petting corner and a play area for toddlers.The animal corner also has a covered structure that houses a variety of small animals: birds, parrots and hamsters.Resort Village guests enjoy free admittance to the animal corner.Animal corner opening hours:
All year round from 8:00 until sunset except for Mondays and Wednesday when it is open from 14:00 till sunset.

Children's playground

At the center of the kibbutz on a large lawn is a children's playground with swings, slides and a sand pit.

Supermarket

Merom Golan has a supermarket where you will find a full range of foodstuffs including meat, dairy products, fruit and vegetables.  Guests staying at the Resort Village don't need to bring supplies from home as they will find almost everything they need at the supermarket.  They can also order supplies in advance and the polite staff at the supermarket will have your order ready when you arrive.

Halls and conference rooms

1.  Alon Hall
The Alon Hall is a multi-functional hall suitable for conferences.  The hall has a large screen, a video projector, large, plasma television and new wooden tables and chairs.
The hall is suitable for gatherings of up to 90 people seated.

2.  Carmit Hall
The Carmit Hall is, in fact, an auditorium with tiered seating for up to 140 people.  The hall has a wide screen, projector and coffee area.

3.  Meeting room
The meeting room is suitable for up to 12 people and has a screen, projector and coffee area.

All the halls are available for hire and if reserved in advance can be organized for receptions with a variety of design themes, and including coffee, pastries and cakes, cocktails and more.

 

Merom Golan pub

Merom Golan's pub, built from local basalt stone and wood, is located in a grove of fir trees, close to the Resort Village.  The pub has a fully stocked bar and a log burning fire for heating during the winter months, tables and chairs and a DJ podium.

The pub is suitable for groups of up to 70 people and is open every Friday to the general public.

The pub can be hired in advance for private parties and the pub will be closed to the public.

Information regarding events and "open stage" can be obtained from reception.

Sports Facilities

At the center of the kibbutz is an area with sports facilities for football, basket ball and tennis.

Synagogue

The synagogue is just a few minutes' walk from the Resort Village and is open for Resort guests.   Guests wishing to arrange a "Minyan" – quorum, should ask at Reception for a key.

Holistic therapy treatments

Resort guests enjoy a wide and comprehensive range of holistic therapy treatments in their own rooms and cabins.

A professional team of therapists will bring a professional treatment couch and all the equipment needed to your room or cabin, to provide the highest quality treatments.

Resort guests can arrange for treatments at a time convenient to them, via the Reception Desk.

Treatments last one hour.  Simultaneous holistic therapy treatments for couples can be arranged.

The range of available treatments includes:
Swedish therapy
Reflexology
Combined holistic therapy
Hot stone therapy and others.

Activities for groups
During the summer a partitioned holistic therapy tent will be set up in the fir tree grove.  During the winter months, treatments will be given in a partitioned and enclosed structure that ensures privacy for each patient.

 

Kabbalat Shabbat

Every Friday, at 18:30 in the Alon Hall next to the dining room, a ceremony is held to welcome in the Sabbath.  The ceremony includes traditional blessings over wine, traditional Sabbath songs, lighting Sabbath candles and readings from the week's portion from the Torah.  A special Sabbath story, suitable for all the family, including children, is also told.

Artists

A number of artists work in or next to the Resort Village.
• Ariel Shamir - a sculptor in wood.  You can visit his gallery next to the Resort.
• Yoop de Yung – a Dutch sculptor working in metal.  His works can be found in a number of locations in the Resort as well as on Mount BenTal.  Yoop takes visitors on guided tours that should be arranged in advance.
• Dorit's brass – a shop exhibiting and selling a variety of beautiful and interesting pieces made from brass can be found in the Coffee Anan coffee shop at the top of Mount BenTal.
