Attractions and sites of interest close to the kibbutz
• Har Odem Boutique winery – just a 10 minute drive away at Moshav Odem.
• De Karina chocolate factory at Ein Zivan. Guided tours and workshops just a 10 minute drive from Merom Golan.
• The Hermon nature reserve and ski resort is just 25 minutes away. Discounted tickets can be bought at Reception.
• Pick your own fruit orchards at Bustan HaGolan and Sha'al. During May through July you can pick cherries and other berries at one of the many orchards in the area. The orchards are located a short, 10 minute drive, from the Resort Village.
• Deer Forest – an experience for all the family just 10 minutes away at Moshav Odem
• El Rom Studios at Moshav El Rom. When visiting the studio you will see a film that explains how subtitles for films and TV programs are prepared as well as a film depicting the decisive battle between Israeli and Syrian forces in the Valley of the Tears (Emek HaBakha) during the 1973 Yom Kippur War.
• Canoe and Kayak adventures can be experienced at four central sites no more than a 25 minute drive from Merom Golan. Kfar Blum Kayak's, HaGoshrim Kayak's, Jordan River Rafting and Abu Kayak in the Jordan Park.
• Also only 20 minutes from Merom Golan you will find the Ramat HaGolan Winery, The Olive Press, and Golan Magic visitor's centers.
• Next to Merom Golan is the Beresheet (In the beginning) Fruit Path visitors center and fruit packing station. The visitor's center takes you on a journey from the planting of an apple or cherry tree through to the picking and packaging of the fruit. Something for all the family.
• The Aniam artist's village, an avenue of workshops and galleries, also open on Saturday.
